Economic uncertainty and the increasing concern about inflation are likely having a negative effect, however.Uncertainty can be the canary in the coal mine, and this survey shows that 1 out of 77% | ENGAGEDevery 4 people feels unsure about what to expect in the next year. That has increased from only 16% last year and is something to keep an eye on. Organizations can tamp out that uncertainty by increasing their level of transparency and sharing both their short 12% | NOT ENGAGED and long-term visions more frequently.Employeeswillultimatelydemonstratetheirpersonallevelof engagement with their actions.Even though 77% of respondents currentlyreportbeingengagedintheirwork,46%have 11% | ACTIVELY DISENGAGED considered looking for another job.Front-line employees are even more likely to have their antennae up than their managers at 54%.Of larger concern, one-quarter of those surveyed report actively looking for a new position elsewhere. 04'
